Idlevine
Laura and Eric McGlynn went to the Dundee Hills for a weekend in 2014 and kept finding reasons to go back. Three more trips that year, then a few house rentals turned into a hospitality company, and finally five acres in Newberg with a vineyard that had been left to its own devices. They coaxed it back and made wine; then family called, and they left the Willamette Valley for Connecticut. Idlevine remained: one bottling a year, made with wild yeast, old barrels, and as little as possible between the site and the glass.
