Dominio IV

Patrick Reuter and Leigh Bartholomew started Dominio IV in 2002. Both studied at UC Davis, where Patrick focused on enology and terroir, and Leigh on viticulture. Before settling in Oregon, they worked harvests in California, Burgundy, and New Zealand. Leigh returned to Oregon in 2000 and became the vineyard manager for Archery Summit. She now manages vineyards across the Willamette Valley through Results Partners.

Winemaker Ryan Kelly-Burnett has worked alongside Patrick since 2011. He came to winemaking after years of harvests across the Northern and Southern hemispheres, landing in Oregon when Patrick lured him into the cellar with a bottle of their viognier.

Dominio farms two properties using biodynamic and organic methods: Three Sleeps in the Columbia Gorge AVA and Shallow-blue-sea in Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Patrick hand-paints the labels.
